Home buyers and sellers in Boulder Colorado can receive tax credits for including energy efficiency into their everyday lives. It isn’t just good for the environment; it’s also good for your wallet! While you may discover that the latest energy efficient appliances can be more expensive, you can save money through federal tax credits. For example, if you are building or buying a new home, you can qualify for tax credits on any products bought before January 1, 2009. To be eligible for the tax credit, the product must meet or exceed the requirements of the 2000 International Energy Conservation Code.
